Lauri Lahikainen (PhD)

I am a philosopher based in Finland. My work focuses mostly on the intersections of environmental philosophy, social ontology, social epistemology and critical theory. I am also very much at home doing interdisciplinary work with social scientists of various stripes.

I defended my PhD dissertation Individual Responsibility for Social Structural Account in June 2018. Cities, Climate Change and Collective Responsibility (2019-2022) is my postdoc project.

I teach ethics and political philosophy, especially climate ethics and environmental ethics, social theory, Marxism and critical theory.
